Shell in GUI disappears while typing commands

Description

While typing a command, a space or enter will make the window disappear. Opening the shell again leaves you where you left off which is good.

Also the shell is very slow to respond such as entering 'ls' takes a few seconds for the list to show up. I do think it's a great idea to have easy access to the shell from the GUI, it just has some bug.

Using r8588 and FireFox? 7.0.1

Since overall functionality is not impacted it's rated as a minor issue.

Yes, the disappearing is known, as a workaround click inside the dialog before typing...
