I checked out the link. I do not have the fancy business yahoo mail, just the free version. I must be doing something wrong since every variation I try gets the error:
Your test email could not be sent [ERRNO 8]hostname nor servname provided, or not known
help? Is anybody out there using Yahoo mail and can walk me through this?

This looks like a DNS problem, can you resolve names from shell? ping yahoo.com?

- Resolution set to invalid
- Status changed from new to closed
If you don't pay Yahoo, you can't get access to their SMTP server(s).
Verified by reanimating my dead Yahoo! account.

I don't think you're using the right info...
Plain authentication is usually not a choice for providers like gmail
Also, 995 is the port for POP not SMTP

Use port 465 and SSL
