Assinging interface name from CLI menu doesn't work

Description
Hi guys,
When I configure a NIC from the CLI config menu after a fresh installation or changing out the NIC, the name I assign it doesn't "stick". When I login to the GUI and look at Network -> Interfaces the name field is blank. I can edit the interface and name it, then the name seems to be permanent.
