Description

Description: When creating a basic zfs pool and creating a CIFS share, the folder layout in the "browse" dialog displays an incorrect directory structure. This issue may persist elsewhere, but adding a CIFS share was all that I tested. Problem tested on 8.2.0-BETA3 (correct version not available for selection in ticket tracker).

Setup FreeNAS in Virtualbox VM
4 Disks, SATA Controller - ICH9
1024MB RAM
2 CPU
ada0 - 2G
ada1 - 10G
ada2 - 10G
ada3 - 10G

Create ZFS Pool
Volume Manager -> Name: data; disks ada1,ada2,ada3, zfs, raidz

Create Shares
Sharing -> Windows (CIFS) Shares -> Add Windows Shares
name: share1
comment: share1
path: browse

The paths don't display properly in the gui, see screenshot.

If I browse the paths in the shell, they are displayed as expected, see screenshot 2.

I cannot reproduce that issue.

  • Resolution set to fixed
  • Status changed from new to closed

I booted the same VM back up and the issue seems to have gone away. :-\ Just a fluke I guess.
