Description
I have just redone hardware of FN box and router so I hope somebody can confirm this. (I installed a fresh 8.04 and used the settings file for prior 8.03 build)
Now if I reboot freenas box I can't find the share with windows7 pc unless I cycle CIFS service. Rebooting windows does not help.
As an unrelated observation, before I replaced some bad cabling and PCI SATA board (or incompatible with new motherboard) I had a bunch of data errors. This did something to the FN OS preventing a soft reboot. I had to power off/on to reboot a few times.

I believe this is fixed in 8.3 with unpatched samba rc.d
