Description
I recently tried to setup link aggregation (bonding) in the GUI and it borked my networking stack it appears...even after removing the entries in config.xml its still broken. After the reboot networking did not come back up. I removed the virtualadapter entries from my NAS with no luck with the write enabled on the CF card. Even after multiple reboots I was unable to get the host even able to ping. I thought all the settings were stored in config.xml but I am wrong apparently.
I'm using an intel PCI card and an onboard realtek card with static IPs and I manually negotiated the media type. I get link lights even but I can't ping hosts on the network or access anything on the system over the network. Firewalling is turned off.
I'm using a 7.X release. I can't even ping hosts on the same subnet.
Any help would be appreciated i'm fairly desperate at this point.
