Group Owner Write-Permissions Not Working on ZFS Dataset/CIFS Share

I have created a new FreeNAS box (8.0.2). I have setup CIFS and AD and it is joined to my domain and has imported users and groups. I then created a ZFS volume, ZFS dataset, and CIFS share (connected to the dataset I just created).

The ZFS dataset permissions and the CIFS Windows ACL are both shown in screenshots in this post. If I select/de-select Group Write NOTHING changes. This same thing happens with Other. The only one where permissions actually set correctly is User Owner.

I personally don't think we should see this as duplicated of #992.
This case is strict to Windows ACL.

I was just about to say that myself. I don't see how that ticket relates to my issue.

The point is that the underlying root cause for ticket 992 *might* be the fact that it was joined to a domain, I tried fiddling around with permissions, and changing perms didn't work as I expected. I didn't really articulate the problem all that well in ticket 992, so the scope is broader than what I originally advertised.

Bottom line is there are one or more bugs with our permissions stuff where it doesn't do what's advertised or expected in the GUI when you edit permissions.

Not 8.0.3, but if we get a chance, maybe 8.2 -- but this assumes we can isolate the problem and fix things by the end of the year, which might be a stretch.
