#1045 closed defect (fixed)

r8851M severly broken back end / DB

Description

The r8851M build broken beyond anything I've seen to date.

The update goes fine from r8722M however once the system reboots, no service starts-up successfully.

No SSH, HTTPD no nothing and the console is just one long list of errors in the DB and various configs.

Unfortunately I cannot get any data of the machine as I cannot logon to it in any way.

Severely broken is being kind. This happens every weekend, or certainly appears so where the builds are broken.

The 'broken' state goes so far as that 'zpool status' reports no pools present and none of the pools being mounted on /mnt/.

If it helps anyone, I've attached a messages file on the following duplicate defect, i am able to get some info as the machine was upgraded and some components like ssh are still enabled but not the lighttpd service.

  • Resolution set to fixed
  • Status changed from new to closed

It should be largely fixed now >_>... you didn't lose your data -- the scripts just didn't produce sane output.
