Description
Built r8635 twice, once normally and once from a clean system, both results in the left pane being blank. I did have MULTIMEDIA flagged in both so I'll try a build without it but that shouldn't make a difference, well it never did before. I wouldn't miss the left pane except it includes items that the main buttons do not have.

Furthermore if the problem remains, try to access /admin/menu.json/ and paste the result if there is anything suspicious... thanks

rebuild with absolutely no modifications and still fails.
Tried with FireFox? on a clean install of Windows XP (VM) so there was absolutely no cached cookies or files, no left pane.
"192.168.1.26/admin/menu.json" displays a blank page as opposed to r8588 (running on my physical NAS) which does display script like text "192.168.1.51/admin/menu.json".
r8596 works fine as well but I didn't build a newer version until this morning.

If you configure the network to use a LAGG with LACP the tree disappear again.
I tried this on a fresh install of r8688, everything showed up initially but when I created the lagg and restarted the left pane tree disappeared. I deleted the lagg and restarted, it showed again.
I used an older configuration and the same thing happened, the left pane menu disappeared until I removed the lagg. now I am using it with a lagg configured.
